#DaanUtsav, earlier called the Joy of Giving Week, is India’s ‘festival of giving’. Launched in 2009, the festival is celebrated every year from October 2 to 8. Daan Utsav is a great platform that brings together people from all walks of life and encourages them to celebrate “Giving” – time, money, material, skill or just love… This festival is like Diwali, Id, or Christmas, except it celebrates “Giving” across all religions, castes and social strata. A fantastic unifier that dissolves boundaries by the pure act of “Giving”.

In 2018, millions of people participated in more than 1,500 events across 200 cities across the country by raising several tens of crores in money and material donations and by giving countless volunteer hours. As an organization, you too, like millions of people from all walks of life, can give your time, money, resources and skills back to the society.

iVolunteer has been actively celebrating DaanUtsav since 2010 and has reached out to thosands of volunteers over the years through multiple engagements designed especially for our valued partners, volunteers and community.

To help you reach out to many opportunitites through volunteering, this year again, iVolunteer has designed various volunteering projects across different locations and invites you to take an active step towards being an active citizen!
