Tech for Elderly

Silver Inning works towards the empowerment of Elderlies.

Project Objective: India is rapidly moving into digitization and somewhere the seniors are feeling left behind or challenged with learning how to use technology to simplify their lives. This project aims at empowering and help elderlies to use simple technology. Target audience is all seniors who are 55+ owning a smartphone. The training starts the months of July-September 2018

Volunteer's Role: Need to impart training to a group of urban elders on functionalities of a smartphone and use of the internet. This will be for 2 sessions per batch of elders with each session of 3-4 hours max at a central location. 

Skills required: Familiar with smartphone functionalities and apps on Android and Apple device and internet.  

Language: English and Hindi. Marathi/Guajarati is an added advantage

Commitment: At least 4-5 batches of training sessions. 

Apparatus/Materials: The material will be provided. If proficient in Hindi and Marathi will be an added advantage along with English proficiency.
