Volunteer with School Development Team

Pune Children's Zone will be working with 20 schools in the Peth area of Pune. All these schools are across mediums (English, Marathi and Urdu). Our aim is to cater to the different needs that a school has wherein the volunteers will be responsible in carrying out the same. The needs range from shortage of teachers to conducting various programs for the school and the parents. As we will be working with 20 schools, we will need a set of volunteers who will be able to work at the school on a regular basis and support the long term programs within the school.

Primary responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the volunteer would include helping out in classrooms, facilitating circle time with students addressing socio-emotional needs, mentoring a few students, conducting co-curricular activities in schools, community visits for increasing parent engagement and looking after the logistics of different sessions or programs that would be carried out in the schools.

Secondary responsibilities:

The volunteers would help the organisation in carrying out administrative work as and when required.

● Passionate
Desired experience:

Any experience with teaching or work with children would be preferred.

Time commitment: 

Minimum 30 hours per month. A minimum period of 3 months is preferable.
