Tree Plantation is Best Option to Gain Green Environment

Objective: To creating awareness among children of SOS about environment and importance of plantation.

08:15 AM Introduction about iVolunteer and SOS Village followed by Do’s and Don’ts
08:25 AM Volunteers will be introduced to children and interaction

A Wall mural on the external, to aware people on importance of plantation 08:45 AM — 11:30 AM
B Painting walls, fences, pots and entrance gate 08:45 AM — 11:30 AM
C Tree Planting on the periphery and front corner to improve greenery in the campus (children will be encouraged to water / maintain the planted shrubs) and brick fencing 08:45 AM — 11:30 AM
D Creating teaching aids/ displays on plantation 08:45 AM — 11:30 AM
11:45 AM Wrap up, Feedback session, Group Photo 

Do's and Don'ts for Volunteers:

Do’s
1.	Wear comfortable clothing
2.	Wear shoes to protect your feet
3.	Wear a hat
4.	Drink water and stay hydrated
5.	Stay with your group
6.	Any emergency contact the volunteers in your respective zones
7.	Wear raincoats/wind cheaters or carry umbrella to protect yourself from the rains.
8.	Collect the debris if any and handle them carefully.

Don’ts
1.	Do not make any promises to any NGO/community member/Beneficiary
2.	Do not ask for any personal information like number, address, family background, income etc.
3.	Don’t give any money or any item to any community member/children.
4.	Be mindful of language in presence of beneficiaries.
5.	Please take permission of locals before clicking their photographs.
6.	Do not smoke in the volunteering areas and its vicinity.
