Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:18+
Volunteers through their regular interaction with the senior citizen and their families help to first identify the areas where changes can be made to eliminate their loneliness. Following this, outdoor and indoor activities to be planned and executed with the senior citizens. Outdoor Activities: - Taking for a grocery shopping - Taking to a doctor’s appointment - Taking to the park/Yoga Group/Community Group - Taking to Religious places - Accompanying to a Bank/Utility Stores etc. Indoor Activities: - Enjoying conversation - Watching Daily soaps/News/Sports/Religious/Cookery channels - Watching movies - Reading religious or story books for them - Hands-on internet, computer helping them explore their skills - Use of mobile phones, internet, Skype, Whatsapp etc. - Help with planning, scheduling and keeping appointments - Medication reminders - Entertaining with hobbies, games, etc.
