Bright Future through its School Program focuses on creating a conducive environment in school by building capacities of students in grades VIII-X and key stakeholders like parents, teachers, principals for enabling students to make informed decisions pertaining to further education, career and life. As adolescents need more guidance and handholding in the process of identifying their career interests and the process of achieving their career goal, we plan Career Development activities with 9th-grade students to help them in this process. Bright Future is looking forward to individuals who can volunteer in this process of handholding a group of students who are interested in a particular career stream and guide the entire process till the Career Mela. Purpose: To guide and handhold the school going students of grade 9th for exploring the opportunities in a career stream they are interested in Location: Kurla, Chembur, Ghatkopar, Worli Key Responsibilities: 1. To understand the process of Career Mela and guide the group of students allocated 2. To research about the career stream the group is interested in and handhold the students to get more aware about the jobs, educational qualifications, skills and attitude required for the career stream 3. To guide the students in preparing the information they have collected and understood by creating a product for the Career Mela Time Duration: 6 Days in between 15th December 2018 to 15th January 2019 Time Commitment: Minimum 1 hour in every visit
