Make Documentary for Anudip Foundation
Anudip's mission is to generate sustainable knowledge-economy livelihoods for poor youths and women through market alligned skills training. Project Background: Infographic videos are engaging. 90% of the information transmitted to the brain is visual and most people are what are called 'visual learners'. Because of the way our brains work, we retain visual information i.e. infographics, much more readily than information received by audio or text. Making infographics is a highly useful skill. Done right, infographics can be a great way to make sense of complex data. The best infographics transform complex information and data into graphics that are both easy to grasp and visually appealing. Selected volunteers will shoot videos about beneficiary success stories and make teasers for promotion Objectives: Shoot beneficiary stories and make teasers for promotion. Make info-graphic videos (story telling covering the transformation journey) Delivarables: 1. Shoot beneficiary stories and make teasers for promotion 2. Make info-graphic videos (story telling covering the transformation journey) 3. Volunteer will shoot footage and assist in editing. 4. He/she will accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to production and post-production. 5. He or she will transport, set up, and operate equipment; and assist with staging, set preparation and dressing Expected Learning: 1. Exposure to the skill development and livelihood sector 2. Beneficiary stories and make teasers for promotion 3. Make info-graphic videos (story telling covering the transformation journey) Essential Skills: 1. Must have knowledge in Video shooting. 2. Must have the ability to use different video cameras and other video recording tools. 3. Must have good taste in choosing locations and visual props. 4. Can shoot in different angles. 5. Can do video editing and can put effects. 6. Creativity and a passionate interest in film and video editing. Must own the following: 1. Camera equipment (digital cameras, video recording cameras) 2. Lighting equipment (spotlights, handheld lights) 3. Audio equipment (microphones) 4. Knowledge about any of the infographic video making tools 5. Should be at the level of a lead or, Manager. May or, may not have team management exerience. Could have also worked as an individual contributor. Mid or, senior management level. 6. Must have a keen eye for detail and a critical mind. 7. Creativity and a passionate interest in film and video editing. 8. Patience and concentration. 9. The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team. 10.
