Project Background: A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill a love of learning. Title: Teach History, Geography, Science, Mathematics and English. Purpose: Teacher required teaching the underprivileged children of Asha Mumbai NGO. Location: Asha Mumbai, Vikhroli West, Mumbai Key responsibilities:
- Teacher- History and Geography (Std: 6th to 8th)
- Teacher- Mathematics and Science (Std: 6th to 8th)
- Teacher- English (Std: 6th to 8th)
Time Commitment: 2 hours (2:30 PM to 4:30 PM) from Monday to Saturday
Skills and Experience Required:
- Volunteer should have experience of teaching
- Volunteer should be committed
- Knowledge of Hindi and Marathi
About NGO: Asha Mumbai works towards promoting the education of underprivileged children in Powai Mumbai from the nearby slums around IIT B, by providing high class learning opportunity and support to the children focused on education projects. Volunteers of Asha work with full dedication and commitment.From class 5th to 12th, students are engaged with well-designed teaching program.
