Need Marathi and Hindi Translators
About the Organisation: Educo SBPMPS is a pilot school providing tuition-free English medium premium quality 21st Century Education to our students coming from underserved communities of Lalbaug, Parel. We develop and test effective teaching-learning practices to ensure the delivery of quality education for the underprivileged. We codify our practices that can be adopted by similar school settings to enhance their teaching-learning environment.
Project name: Translating documents from English to Marathi and Hindi and vice-versa
Project Background: EDUCO closely works with the Department of Education (MCGM) and municipal school teachers from vernacular medium, and hence need some of their relevant content to be translated into local languages (Hindi & Marathi)
Project Deliverable: The volunteer is expected to translate Educational Content form English to Hindi and Marathi. The volunteer will generally be translating communications material for our stakeholders like MCGM into Hindi & Marathi.
Skill and Experience: The volunteer would need to be fluent in Marathi as well as Hindi
Time Duration: 1 month (Depending on volunteer's speed)
Time Commitment: 4 to 5 hours per week
EDUCO will provide a cirtificate on completion of the project.
