About the Organisation:
Every year, 140 million children are enrolled in Government schools across India, but only 10 millions of them get gainfully employed every year. Anahata United Efforts Foundation believes that this is because of the lack of exposure & awareness and lack of educational & career guidance. They believe in the potential of each child and have developed a program for children of Grade 8 and 9 of lower income families to identify interest areas and harvest their potential through discovery, reinforcement and continuing support.
Purpose of the Project:
Anahata United Efforts Foundation is looking for a volunteer who can help with grant making and proposal writing.They are looking for an extra hand who understands or is willing to understand the grant and proposal writing area and do some research to help them identify avenues of income generation. They are looking for volunteers who can interact with them regularly to understand their work and have a flare for written and spoken English.
Key Objectives:
- Research avenues of grant-making and fundraising
- Create an impactful story in proposals and grants to help generate revenue
- Be present for the entire lifecycle of a given grant or proposal
Impact:
This volunteering opportunity will be directly beneficial to the organisation in raising their scale of operations and hence directly impacting millions of children across government school realise their dreams and feel supported to be able to achieve them.
