Project Description: “Waste Economy, Management Upbringing Stability Truston Waste Recycling information through local education" The Sangam Pratishthan organization has been working in the Waste Management sector since the last eight years; focussing majorly on generating employment and sustaining lives of the vulnerable through the “3Rs” system - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle of waste management. We as an organisation have created an awareness platform to educate individuals on the subject. For this awareness campaign we’re seeking to collaborate with volunteers with the basic understanding of the current global and local waste management scenario. As a part of the project, the volunteers would be required to produce photographs and create vlogs as educational content to explain the various aspects of waste management at home to the general public. Purpose:
- To educate public about the domestic waste and sensitize them towards the need of waste management practices.
- To encourage the public to lead a conscious lifestyle and reduce the production of domestic waste.
- To educate the public about different waste management strategies at home, such as - dry and wet waste segregation, recycling, composting etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be willing to learn and participate in orientation/training programs and meetings.
- Accept the guidance and decisions of the volunteer coordinator.
- Keep internal information about the organization confidential.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Good reading, listening and communication skills.
- Have a good sense of Photography and Videography
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (To be done virtually) Time Commitment: 5 hours a day for 5 days a week.
