“Waste Economy, Management Upbringing Stability Truston Waste Recycling
information through local education"
The Sangam Pratishthan organization has been working in the Waste Management sector for the last eight years; focussing majorly on generating employment and sustaining the lives of the vulnerable through the “3Rs” system - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Waste management is a multidimensional problem that requires technology, economics, and socio-cultural and political activities to go hand in hand. We as an organization have created an awareness platform to educate individuals on the subject. For this project, we’re seeking volunteers with a knack for creative writing and awareness of the Waste Management scenario at the local as well as global level. The volunteers would be required to research the ongoing trends, statistics, and strategies in the Waste Management Sector to curate an interesting blog to educate and intrigue the general public.

Skills and Experience Required:
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (To be done virtually)
Time Commitment: 5 hours a day for 5 days a week.
Time Duration: June – December 2020 (6 months)

- Discussing and spreading awareness about the latest trends, technologies, and practices in the Waste Management Sector.
- Educating the people about various Waste Management strategies at both domestic and industrial levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be willing to learn and participate in orientation/training programs and meetings.
- Accept the guidance and decisions of the volunteer coordinator.
- Keep internal information about the organization confidential.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Good reading, listening, and communication skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Ability to curate creative and interesting blogs
