TITLE: Technology support for outreach
Project Description: At Urja, our programmes focus on creating a just, equitable and compassionate society where young women pursue their lives with freedom and dignity. We undertake awareness generation and advocacy as part of our work and need support to effectively disseminate our communication material.
Purpose: To increase awareness about the problems and related solutions wrt to homeless women, and enlarge our audience base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up mass mailing system (via mail chimp or similar platforms)
- Train internal staff on operational aspects (to take over responsibilities after set up and initial support)
Skills and Experience Required:
- Understanding of mass mailing process (including technical aspects)
- Familiarity with mail chimp or similar mass mailing platforms

Time frame of the volunteering, including number of hours a week: To be decided mutually
About NGO:
Established in 2014, URJA is dedicated to the rights of homeless women from across the country, between the ages of 18-30 years. Our approach is guided by three main principles of Facilitating shelter, health and restoration; Transformation through education, training and mentorship; Advocacy and Awareness Generation to increase the pace of reforms and change the plight of these women.
