Background The future of education was always digital. Covid19 has made it urgent. At the core of digital education is the pedagogically superior, video based, curriculum aligned, teaching-learning content. While such content is getting increasingly available for a few rich students of English medium schools, there is nothing available for a vast majority of not so privileged students going through vernacular instruction. We are now looking to engage with volunteers to participate in and contribute to this journey as we now focus on developing middle school content (classes 6-8) Essential Info 1. Volunteers required: 10-15 2. Location: Noida and around 3. Duration: 3 months extendable to 6 months 4. Engagement: Initially 3-4 weeks training at our Noida office. Then flexi. a. Training period: full day at office b. Rest: WFH + 1 day per week at office c. Expected: At least 20 hours per week Desired Volunteer Profile 1. Age: 18-25, college student 2. Tech enthusiast (no advanced skills needed) 3. Has own laptop 4. Good command over written and spoken Hindi 5. Small town background welcome 6. Passion for education, esp school education Role & Nature of Work A volunteer can participate in any one or more of the following broad areas depending on interest, aptitude and time commitment- 1. Post-production & editing 2. Production: Module delivery (in front of camera) and direction 3. Pre-production: Content research and pedagogical design What We Promise 1.
