Plogging Drive at Mutha River
In 2015, Vivek Gurav who was worried about the hazardous waste lying all around the city. He and his friends adopted river Indrayani and were successful in preventing 40 tonnes of plastic waste from entering the river. He founded Pune Ploggers in 2019. Pune Ploggers is the first of its kind team plogging every weekend in different areas in Pune. Pune ploggers have completed 173 successful plogging drives till now. In the last eight months, they have conducted nearly 100 plogging drives in Baner Hills, Dighi Hills, stretches of river Mutha, Pune railway station, and Sinhagadh Fort.
On the ocassion of World Water Day, iVolunteer in collaboration with Pune Ploggers have planned a plogging drive on the banks of Mutha river. Join our effort to make Pune city a cleaner and better city to live in!

Note:
1. Carry Your Own Water Bottle for the Drive.
2. MASK COMPULSORY😷😷
3. Garbage Bags will be provided.🗑♻
4. If you already have those reusable gloves do bring them with you.
5. If you cannot arrange gloves, we will provide gloves.
6. We handover waste collected in Plogging to PMC/Recycler.
7. If you have any health issues, avoid joining the drives for everyone's safety.
8. Wear comfortable outfits as per your preference.
