Celebrate World Earth Day by making Paper Bags
On the Occassion of World Earth Day, let's make the best use of nature by making Paper Bags. Paper Bags making is a quicker and cost-effective method. Paper bags are made up of renewable resources and so are easily recyclable.
How: Volunteers need to make paper bags from old newspaper, and then they can customise it by adding a bottle of sanitiser, pair of mask, biscuit packet and can give it to their househelp, buikding watchman, local grocery or vegetable vendor, etc.
When: April 17, 2021 | Satruday 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Virtual (meeting/ session invite will be shared via an email 1 day prior the activity date).
Materials Required:
1. Old Newspaper
2. Glue
3. String- Jute (if available)
4. Punch Machine
5. Small Sanitiser bottle
6. Single/ Pair of Mask
7. Biscuit Packet
Advantages of Using Paper Bag:
Using paper bag is eco-friendly. Packaging in paper bags are considered as an upmarket and classy. Packing in simple bag and in an attractive printed paper bags will definitely give an edge to the product. Paper bags are biodegradable and do not have leftover toxins. Paper bags can be used again and again with careful handling. Paper bags can be easily composted in a home composer. Paper bags are inexpensive and practical to use.
