For 10 years, Sankalp has been convening the world's most promising entrepreneurs along with investors, policy makers, government officials and many other ecosystem builders under one roof. This year, Sankalp Global Summit celebrates a decade of facilitating change in some of the world's most underserved communities. 

Sankalp Forum was initiated in India in 2009 by Intellecap, part of the Aavishkaar-Intellecap Group, to create a thriving ecosystem for business-led inclusive development. Over the past 9 years, Sankalp has built one of the world's largest impact enterprise focused platforms that have showcased and discovered 1500+ entrepreneurs, through 15+ editions and have connected them to over 300+ investors.

There are also volunteering positions available. iVolunteer has been the volunteering partner of Sankalp Global Summit since 2017 and this year again invites the diverse group of individuals at the Sankalp Global Summit 2018 in Mumbai, India from December 11-12.

An opportunity for one to be part of Sankalp Forum and support the organizing team in the overall organization and execution of the project. . For Volunteering at Sankalp, iVolunteer seeks proactive & dynamic professionals/management students with relevant experience in Event management/ Volunteering and a practical hands-on approach towards obtaining high-quality results. The individual must have sharp interpersonal skills and should be able to think creatively under stress.

Outreach Management:

-Use relevant networks to spread awareness regarding the summit before and during the summit dates
- Posting information on various platforms, speaking to peer groups for participation, approaching corporates and/or other stakeholders for opportunities for collaboration, including media organizations.

Registration Desk:

-Welcome and assistance for delegates with the registration process at the Summit
- Address queries regarding the venue, timing and location of sessions or activities. 
- Assist delegates with any miscellaneous request

Networking and launch:

- Ensure the networking area is clean
- Guide the crowd to the lunch/ tea area
-Cater to request of delegates during break hours
- Crowd management

Speaker servicing:

- Ensure the speakers are guided to the lounge area
- Cater to requests of the speakers

Stage Management:

-Assist with the management and logistics related to sessions. 
- Setting up visual cues (i.e. PowerPoint presentations)
- Ensuring AV and mic set-up for all sessions
- Ensuring participants are in order to go up on stage, and other duties as needed

Session Management:

-Ensuring the speakers/ moderators/ facilitators arrive on time and are prepared for the session, 
-ensuring all needs are met to carry out the session and the space is in order, handing out thank you gifts (wherever necessary) to speakers/ moderators/ facilitators, 
- Ensuring the session begins and ends on time (i.e. providing timing cues to the speakers)
- Live Tweeting during the session.

Media Management:

- Assist in the press room for promotions and interviews
- Delivering press releases
- Distribute press kits (if any)
- Manage interview requests and relevant interview activities
- Work on social media like Twitter Facebook, and other relevant social media tools to promote activities happening outside the main plenary sessions.
