Fellowships

 

Fellowships are experiential social leadership programs for young Indians that include working full time (1 to 2 years) on development projects with field partner organisations together with training, peer learning and mentoring. The experience empowers Fellows to find their own leadership potential, shape their futures and make a difference.

Common eligibility criteria (do check the Fellowship website for specific criteria):

  • You are less than 30 years of age.
  • You are already a graduate (in any discipline) or will graduate before fellowship begins.
  • You are an Indian citizen.
  • You are ready for a long (1 to 2 years) full time commitment to the fellowship.
  • You understand that this is not just a job and will expect you to be engaged 24X7 in the process with the community.
  • You are willing to work away from home anywhere in India on a project as assigned

Fellowships on offer:

SWAR Fellowship

Offered in partnership with SIDBI and SIDBI Swavalamban Foundation, SWAR Fellows primarily work in projects related to livelihood, income generation, agricultural or rual entrepreneuship incldung Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) and skill development or other areas that strenghten or prepare the community for such purpose.
