Good Deeds Day 2021 - Each small act counts!

Creativity is contagious, pass it on!

15th April is the birthday of the world-famous artist Leonardo da Vinci. Artists for A Better World International member, Becky Mate, founded an international holiday for the Arts in 1998, aptly called World Art Day, the same day as da Vinci's birthday. Since 1998, Mate has inspired and encouraged others to spread the word about this holiday to artists and art enthusiasts around the globe. The result has been a growing number of World Art Day celebrations with each passing year. This year, iVolunteer has planned to celebrate art on April 11th, 2021 by calling in all the different types of artists virtually to give the shelter home kids a beautiful glimpse of what art is. If you think that you know any sort of art and that you can transfer the same knowledge to kids, do register today and help us make this day a memorable one. It can be anything like singing, painting, sketching, DIY crafts, playing any instrument, etc. If you do not want to teach but just want to join as a participant and enjoy the time with kids, you are most welcome! Location: Virtual Note: Once you register, the opportunity coordinator will connect with you and understand what art you will be performing/teaching

A simple initiative where every individual thinks of a homeless, suffering or underprivileged person, makes sandwiches with their own hands and love, goes across and meets such persons and shares the sandwiches with them, while engaging them in a conversation to understand them better. Objective of Seva Sandwich: Each year iVolunteer organizes Seva Sandwich as part of Good Deeds Day to feed the needy and promote volunteering. The Sandwich Making activity idea is a simple one that any group of 5 or more people can come together and do, during Good Deeds Day. Goal: Feed 50 people in need. People wonder how they could make a difference in the world, but perhaps don’t have as much time as they'd like. An act of kindness need not be a huge one to make a difference With sandwich making activity. A journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step, and this can get millions started.
