iVolunteer has partnered with India@75 (CII’s grassroots initiative) to celebrate the National Volunteering Week 2020.
India@75 seeks to promote an eco-system for structured volunteering in India and the National Volunteering Week (NVW) is observed from 18 to 24 January every year since 2014 with an objective of providing every Indian an opportunity to engage with nation-building exercise by volunteering individually, through community groups, NGOs, Companies etc. During the previous 6 editions of NVW, India@75 reports recording more than half a million hours of volunteering in over 60 cities as well as nearly 1500 villages, pan India in the nationwide celebration of Volunteering.
As we step into 2020 with fresh resolutions and hopes, we once again are planning the National Volunteering Week from the 18th to the 24th of January, 2020, and will be honored to have your participation in the week’s activities. Your valuable participation in the previous year has enabled us to reach out to and mobilise citizens from across the country and we hope to reach newer heights with your support in 2020.
