Financial Planning for Micro-Finance Project

PROJECT BACKGROUND
Tiljala Shed is a grass root organization working for unprivileged and marginalized section of society especially the rag pickers by providing education and vocational training. They provide vocational training to women and children. Tiljala has multiple social programs. Currently, Tiljala's projects are dependent on Donors, they want to be able to fund their own projects. They want to use their Micro-Finance project to raise the money to fund all the projects of the organisation. So that they can be self-sustainable and not donor dependent.


KEY PROJECT OBJECTIVES
1) Provide expert insights in the livelihood micro-finance sector which will help the organisation sustain itself.
2) Provide understanding on how to run the program keeping in mind NGO financial rules.
3) Help scale up the micro financial activities carried out by the organization.

PROJECT DELIVERABLES
1) A micro finance business banking model keeping in mind government rules for NGO finances for making them donor independent.
2) Financial Model should be designed keeping in mind the longevity of the NGO.
