PROJECT BACKGROUND
Kathakali Swapnopuron Welfare Society (KSWS) has been working in the child development space for a long time. Since a majority of their work is done in the outskirts of Kolkata a lot of their work doesn't get realized. They now want to create awareness of the kind of work they are doing for this they want to create blogs for people to have quick but in-depth read about their work.
iVolunteer will be the midpoint of contact. iVolunteer is a social enterprise that promotes volunteering. Their Mission is to bring volunteers and organizations together to share time, skills and passion to promote India social development.
KEY PROJECT OBJECTIVES
1) Have content supply for weekly blogging
2) Workshop to train KSWS's staff on blogging
3) Create a strategy to establish a readership
PROJECT DELIVERABLES
1) Write a weekly blog for KSWS on the area of child development
2) Train the staff on how to write blogs so that they can in the future take forward the volunteers efforts
3) Help design a strategy to establish a readership
EXPECTED LEARNING FOR THE VOLUNTEER
1) Ability to translate skills in a diverse context
2) Empower the less fortunate
