About the Organisation
Dharma Bharathi Mission aims to contribute significantly towards reducing poverty, improving health facilities, increasing access to education and awareness, increasing availability of employment and income opportunities.
Project Background:
It is becoming increasingly important for NGOs to have policies in place– documented and approved. While the bigger organisations are likely to have some of these, smaller organisations often struggle to put these together. iVolunteer has more than 500 partner NGOs who can use support on this front. The compliance manuals include finance, HR, purchase, internal audit, POSH etc. iVolunteer will make this open source available to our partner organisations. In addition, the volunteers who apply for this opportunity will be connected with a few prospective NGOs who will help the volunteer understand NGO compliance requirements better.
Volunteer Experience
- Experience working in developing policies or awareness about compliance related matters on the specific area that you can create a note for
- Access on phone for a few conversations with NGOs to understand their needs and context.
Time Required: Around 3 hours per week
Project Duration: 2 months
