Internship opportunity in Odisha (On ground)
Time commitment: 3 days in a week
Location: Unmukt Foundation, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar
Min. Commitment: 6 months
Internship type: Volunteer-based, unpaid
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with children on weekends to improve their reading skills and ignite curiosity
- Designing various activities for the children from 10 to 14 years age group
- Coordinating with other members for various ongoing projects
- Writing proposals, concept notes, and relevant communication and impact materials including presentations, documents
- Open to work on different projects if required
Skills Required:
- Love and a lot of patience for children
- Open to adapt a new way of mentoring (we're not looking for a teacher, we're looking for a mentor who can be a friend or a guide to a child living in basti of Bhubaneswar)
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Preferably know Odia language
- Has a strong commitment to work to improve the current education system
- Proficiency with computers especially Google forms, Docs, Canva, Zoom, and WhatsApp
