Health Practitioner

Project Description: 
Kshamata NGO is looking for a Health Care Practitioner who will help the NGO with routine health check-up of 30 girls aged 18- 26 years. If you are a Health Care Practitioner and is willing to hep the girls, here's a chance to volunteer with us. 

Location: Kshamata Transformation Centre

Prathmesh Niwas, Ramachandra Nagar 2, Near Datta Mandir, Thane (West)- 600004 India

Time Commitment: 2 hours in a week and also a mutual understanding between the NGO and the Volunteer

Key Responsibilities of a Volunteer:

1. To do routine check-up of 30 girls
2. To teach the good health practices
3. To create awareness on menstruation and nutrition

Skills/ Experience Required of a Volunteer: 

2. Good communication
3. Female volunteer will be preferred

About the NGO:
Kshamata is a registered trust, based in Thane. Its mission is to empower women and adolescent girls faced with vulnerable and exploitative situations including trafficked backgrounds, enabling them to become respected, productive and earning citizens, by providing on-going care and counselling, life skills education, job readiness, appropriate vocational training and placement, necessary arrangements for accommodation, continued follow up and support for reintegration in society.
