Call for Volunteers: Social Media & Outreach Manager
Volunteer Role:
We’re seeking a social media-savvy volunteer to help manage and promote our event before, during, and after the celebration to increase visibility for both the event and our NGO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the NGO’s existing social media profiles
- Promote the event in the lead-up—create buzz, share stories, and post teasers
- Go live, post real-time updates/stories during the event
- Share post-event highlights and acknowledgments
- Help in online outreach and visibility to spread awareness about our work
Time Commitment:
- Approx. 5 hours/week from now till the event (includes remote coordination)
- Must be available on 29th August from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Skills Required:
- Social media handling (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Basic graphic design (Canva, etc.) – optional but helpful
- Content writing and storytelling skills
- Interest in working with/for a cause
👣 About the NGO – Swasthi Foundation
Committed organization working with children with special needs, including those diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities. A center that provides services like physiotherapy and inclusive education aimed at empowering these children and promoting their talents. This year marks 10th anniversary, and hence celebrating it with a special event to honor the achievements of the students.
🎉 About the Event – Swasthi Kala Vaibhava
A cultural and inclusive celebration showcasing the talents of over 1000 children with special needs from more than 35 special schools across Karnataka. The event also includes a free eye check-up camp for children, parents, and volunteers.
