Library Care Volunteer
The Library Support volunteering role focuses on organising and maintaining a child-friendly library environment for our children at Kharghar centres. The volunteer will arrange library books according to age appropriateness and categorise them by genre, age group, and language preference to ensure easy access for young readers. This role requires a minimum centre visit of twice a month and includes maintaining basic documentation such as a list of available books with details on book titles, reading levels, and shelf allocation. Overall, the role supports effective library maintenance and enables easy monitoring and management of the library programme by the SPOC.
