Creative Impact Volunteer – Teaching the Global Goals

Location: Hybrid
Time Commitment: 6 hours
Purpose of the Role:

To spark curiosity, nurture creativity, and build confidence among economically disadvantaged children and their teachers from both government and low-income private schools.

To introduce and explain the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) in an engaging, age-appropriate manner.

To foster a peer-to-peer learning culture that empowers children to become active change-makers.

To engage students through fun, creative, and project-based activities related to the UNSDGs.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop engaging content and simple teaching aids around selected UNSDG goals.

Organize and arrange materials required to explain and teach key concepts.

Facilitate hands-on learning by guiding students through activities or model-building related to real-world problems addressed by the UNSDGs.

Donate educational models/materials to the school for continued use after the volunteering session.
What We Expect From You:

Enthusiasm to explore creative and hands-on teaching methods.

Fluency in English and local language for effective communication.

Passion to work with children and support teachers.

Interest in teaching and model creation based on the UNSDG framework.
