Videographer

India Welfare Trust (www.indiawelfaretrust.in) was set up by an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus with the objective of helping those who help others. Currently, it supports projects that involve giving through philanthropy and through volunteering. Through #EveryIndianVolunteering it aims to enable citizens across the country to volunteer their time and skills towards social causes. In order to achieve this, we work with ecosystem partners such as NGOs, corporates, volunteering intermediaries, and several communities and groups who are all actively involved in engaging volunteers or promoting volunteerism. About the opportunity: There is already a lot of exciting work being done by all the ecosystem partners but very little documentation of their efforts. A visual repository of interviews will help us learn, document, and share their work with the larger community. Plus, as we all know, people would prefer watching videos instead of reading the same content. Tasks involve: Recording videos of leaders from corporates, NGOs, schools, colleges, intermediaries, etc., where they talk about their best practices, key achievements, failures and challenges. Skills required: Basic experience in recording videos Verbal communication (to coordinate/conduct interviews) People skills (read: being able to work with the editor) Note: We will NOT be providing a camera. Help Primary Care Givers with their Work

Purpose: Primary Care Givers taking care of chronically ill or palliative care relatives in their homes do not get respite from their duties. Volunteers will take over these responsibilities for 3-4 hours so that the primary care giver gets a break from their routine. Location: Anywhere in Mumbai at residential home and may include Hospital visits depending on location. Key Responsabilities: Must be willing to be subjected to police verification and submission of proof documents since this is a visit to someone's personal home. 1) Take care of the patient and shoulder all the responsibilities in the absence of the Primary Care Giver. 2) Help Primary Care Givers enjoy normal routine life and cope better with their responsibilities. Volunteer Description: Older person preferably 40+ to just retired adults with some personal experience of life changing events around health care issues. Should be non-judgemental and empathatic. Know smart phone use. Comfortable in Indian Languages, the more the better. Hindi essential. Time Commitment: Minimum 3-4 hours atleast once per month any day of the week. It is very important that whatever the roster selected, the person should follow on the agreed-upon committed schedule and not ask for constant changes. Support Provided: For Respite Care volunteers, 2 day training in respite care including handling emergencies after clearing police verification. Certificates will be provided to committed volunteers.

About the organisation: Caregiver Saathi is an endeavour to acknowledge and support Caregivers of patients with terminal illness or chronic conditions, so that together we can improve the quality of their lives, their well-being and those that they care for. Purpose Help the Organisation grow and increase its presence and reach in the social media by using the expertise and experience of Specialist Volunteers. Key Responsabilities 1) Depending on expertise, help organise support group meetings, support fund raiser events, provide help with accounts, legal regulations, content writing, making short films, fund raising etc. 2) Make world aware of importance and contribution of Primary Care Givers Volunteer Skills 1) Students, young adults with specialised skills such as Lawyers, CA, Digital Marketing Experts, Event Managers etc to help in backend office work. 2) Also open to parent-child volunteer where the younger person helps to lift patient, do the running around, provide back office support etc. Location Anywhere in Mumbai with visits to the office. Time Commitment Minimum 3-4 hours atleast once per month any day of the week. It is very important that whatever the roster selected, the person should follow on the agreed-upon committed schedule and not ask for constant changes. Benifits Volunteers can also bank their hours of volunteering and use this when they themselves are in need of the same. Certificate to committed volunteers
