RECORD VIDEO LESSONS

ABOUT e-VIDYALOKA eVidyaloka addresses the top two chronic challenges hampering quality education in rural schools of our country – Teacher Shortage and Teaching Quality. The model brings qualified Indian nationals, leveraging the power of Technology and enables access to high-quality teachers to the underserved children in the remotest villages of India covering from Rural to Tribal regions. Fast forward, to Covid and education amidst the pandemic - The schools are locked, most of them are quarantines, the children are in their homes, teachers in their homes. The children are yearning to learn, and the passionate teachers are looking for an interactive medium to reach students and at the same time, also be able to manage, monitor, measure the outcomes. The formal channel of education is disrupted. We believe that LOCKDOWN is for schools, not for the LEARNING. RECORD VIDEO LESSONS. The current pandemic situation does not allow students in the villages to go to school for regular classes. Even in these circumstances, there lies an opportunity for each one us to help the children of rural India. The solution is to broadcast recorded video lessons so that learning continues. eVidyaloka is bridging the gap of technology access in the villages, by way of broadcasting video classes through TV to the children, ensuring equitable education for all. To bridge the gap eVidyaloka is starting the initiative of recording class sessions and broadcasting it over television to reach the larger student population in rural India. How Videos for a chapter on various subtopics covered in the textbook can be recorded, following a set of guiding instructions and technology aids recommended by eVidyaloka. The entire content created in regional language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Marathi) will then create a deeper impact in the learning for all the children viewing the videos

PowerPoint Specialist

We need your skills and your time to improvise on workshop content on the theme of personal carbon footprint. Should be available atleast 8 hours in a week to make fresh designs as well as revise existing designs in powerpoint or similar. here is an introduction of our initiative. Have you wondered why we experience climate catastrophes more often? -15 incidents in 2019 displaced 1 million+ people in each incident. Does the air increasingly seem more polluted? -Air Pollution now kills more people than smoking in India. Why is it that many of the wildlife species are becoming extinct? -Animal population has reduced 60% from 1970 to 2020. Our current lifestyle is responsible for all the above changes. To address the massive problem of planet destruction, individuals and community must be mobilized to know and to reduce our carbon footprint. Carbon footprint is essentially a measure of how much the earth's resources are depleted with each and every product we buy and consume. Everything has a carbon footprint. People, places, events. At Onlyplanet.in we have devised a carbon footprint calculator, the first one of its kind, for India. Students aged 10yrs+, their parents & teachers can use this calculator to discover the extent of carbon footprint of our lifestyle over 1 year. With the use of the calculator, children intuitively learn planet-friendly choices, and are encouraged to apply this learning practically. What's more, they can adopt the learning along with their parents, classmates, family & friends. They can raise awareness of personal carbon footprint with their own campaigns. Our carbon footprint calculator is a free-of-cost tool hosted on https://onlyplanet.in It was presented @ National Environment Conference, IIT Bombay, in Feb 2019. Since then we have conducted learning + action programs at 28 schools(Ascend International, Mount Litera etc) corporates & social festivals, notably Nehru Science Center, Mumbai in Mumbai, Chennai & Coimbatore. Over 5000 people have discovered the practice of sustainability in daily life with the use of the calculator. The goal of this volunteer is to share the link for the personal carbon footprint calculator. You will be provided a custom camapign link of your own with which you can track the success of your campaign. images, videos will be made available to you via our social media channels. You are welcome to join our monthly workshops to learn about carbon footprint of day-to-day stuff and to reduce your own carbon footprint with everyday actions.
