About the Event: There are millions of NGOs in Indian working towards the most pressing issues in our society. While these NGOs have the intent and passion, many of them still lack effective, powerful channels to take their work to more people and supporters. This includes many of them not having even a website. This Daan Utsav (India’s festival of giving), Bhumi will be supporting around 1,000 NGOs by building and revamping a key aspect of their identity and work – their website. How the Project Works: You will be assigned to a group to help one particular NGO with a Team of 3 other members i.e. Creative, Content and Team lead. (You can also form your own team and apply for this Team Oppourtunity instead of this individual opportunity) Role of the Volunteer as Creative Designer: 1. Creating illustrated infographics for sharing on social media 2. Creating visuals for social media 3.Collect needs and requirements from the Team lead and Web designer in designing creatives and posters to be part of the website. Skills Required of a Volunteer: 1. Knows Graphic Designing 2. Experience with Adobe Illustrator 3. Illustration experience Duration: 1 to 2 Weeks. (2 hrs Daily)
