There is a popular statement “We have not inherited the Earth from our ancestors, we have borrowed it from our children”. We tend to overlook this and put the lives of our future generations in jeopardy by the continuous environmental degradation. Teaching children about good and bad touch

In today’s times, we hear a lot about child abuse and molestation. It’s high time, we start teaching young children about “Good Touch Bad Touch” to help prevent more damage. Most of the time, targets are very young children, below 6-7 years of age. They are too young to understand the difference between right and wrong. Every single day, the media reports such cases where young children, both boys and girls, are sexually abused by an adult around them. The problem is, that they do not even know what is happening. It is still a sensitive topic for parents to talk to their children, so most of them do not want to go there. The same goes for schools as well. At times, we hesitate to take up and speak on sensitive topics. But, the fact remains that it is very important for the betterment of our young children that they know about all this and can deal with it if they ever come across a situation like this. What is good touch bad touch? The goal here is to inform your child about the dangers, without causing any anxiety. Some simple activities will be conducted with the children so that they are able to relate themselves with what they were taught. The session helped the children shed their inhibitions and reservations linked with the topic of sexual abuse. #iVolunteer #Good Deeds #Active Citizenship

Protagonist - Trainings

With limited resources to attract best talent from the industry most organizations in the development sector often face a challenge of low employee efficiency which translates into high manpower costs. It is also seen that most of the affordable training opportunities available to the sector are typical classroom training with medium to large groups of participants. These training though able to offer high quality theoretical inputs have limited scope for peer learning and customized, on the job inputs. Other limitations of these offerings are the time bound availability of the trainer post the training. Studying these aspects iVolunteer could see a clear need for a low cost customized training solution. Hence GYAN (Get Your Answers Now) was developed to engage professional to address the above challenge of the NGO’s. GYAN (Get Your Answers Now) sessions are technical clinics that aim to improve the Employee efficiency of organizations in the development sector. Each 5 hour session (which will include a healthy working meal) is designed to offer CUSTOMISED inputs relevant to the work of the participating organization. Powered by Practical tips & practice sessions, across various subject areas these sessions help the participants to get a hands on and a hand held training environment. We hereby invite applications from the professionals with 10+ years experience in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune who would be willing to volunteer and play the role of Protagonist for our very own GYAN program

Tutor at eVidyalok

We all see the influence of the Internet on every person. However, the use of it is mostly for absorbing social media and entertain. eVidyalok is an organization whose determination will force you to change that thought. It has utilized the Internet to connect with schools with a shortage of teachers. This gap is filled by the willingness to volunteer of the young, old and even the working population. You will only be required to plan your day and take out an hour, two or more to educate the children. Through this idea, eVidyalok help schools to bring students up equally as they would without the shortage of teachers.
