Reduce Dropout Rate in Schools

According to a UNESCO report, 47 million youth in India drop out of school by 10th standard. Northeast is one of the states who have the highest School drop outs, Open School is a program being run by AG Vocational School to reduce School Drop Outs rates in slum of Tangra and improve the education practices.

Volunteer to 
To create awareness about the program in the identified communities
To build an awareness campaign using digital and print media for mobilising more volunteers, generating awareness in the Tangra community about the program.

Project Deliverable:  
1. Awareness Campaign with specifics for the organisation or the identified volunteer to execute it
2. To organise 4 slum walks/school walks with volunteers and creating awareness about the program in the community

Expected Learning: 
1. About School drop outs and its impact on the community. 
2. Interpersonal skills development. 
3. Designing campaign and networking.
