Social Media Specialist for good in Hyderabad
Project Background: Are you a social media buff? Volunteer with Learning Space Foundation to help us improve our presence online so that we can spread awareness on the social causes we are working on. Title: ChangeMaker - Social Media Purpose: Grow awareness in social media for the social causes the organization is working on and also grow organisation’s online presence Key Responsibilities: 1. Spread awareness by creating and distributing useful and engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages 2. Market about the organisation on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram 3. Help drive traffic to website, promote content using various advertising strategies, and develop relationships with key influencers and target audiences. 4. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network Skills and Experience Required: 1. Experience in social media marketing 2. Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills, fluency in English 3. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices 4. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics 5. Commitment towards work and a positive outlook Time Duration: 3 months Time Commitment: Volunteer gets to choose About SCH: About Sarah's Covenant Homes: Sarah's covenant is home for previously abandoned children with disabilities, we believe that disability should not take a child away from family, we function as family style homes giving lot of love and care to each and every child. We have 4 homes in Hyderabad with 80 children and almost equal number of staff to take care of our loved ones. We strive to improve the quality of life of our children by preparing them for adoptions to loving families. Till now we have 50 children adopted and the number keeps increasing. Our needs are continuous as we do our best to provide Nutrition, Education, Medicine to Medically fragile children. Your support will help us to make our children's life better Because every life matters.
