About the organization:
Dribble Academy Foundation (DAF) was started in 2014 with just two bamboo sticks and a basketball hoop. Today we are operational in three states reaching out to over 1500 children.
Our model is to create sports programs towards the holistic development of children. We envision to achieve this development through coaching, lifeskill training and nutritional support for children belonging to low resource backgrounds in various rural and urban slum communities.
Responsibilities:
Teaching kids about the impact of waste on the earth is as simple as remembering the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Begin by empowering children with opportunities for keeping the earth clean. Make a family goal to find out about the different ways to dispose of different items properly, about local recyclers and how much waste they take. Visit a local recycling centre or exhibition to show kids how recycling works and what types of materials are recyclable.
