About the organisation
Dharma Bharathi Mission aims to contribute significantly towards reducing poverty, improving health facilities, increasing access to education and awareness, increasing availability of employment and income opportunities.
Project Background
Since we are under a lockdown currently many platforms are indulging in online teaching. DBM wants to do the same. They run vocational courses like tailoring, beautician , computer from our centres situated in slums. They do not want the lockdown to slow down the good work that they do. However, online teaching requires a set of skills to execute. Hence they are looking for someone to train their staff in taking these sessions online.
Project Deliverables
- They need the volunteer to look at their current online teaching delivery and provide suggestions
- The volunteer could also help in making a plan for future (short term and medium term)
Volunteer Skills
- It would be great it the volunteer specialises in pedagogy
- Volunteer could also be a teacher who generally does online teaching or someone who is currently taking online sessions
Time Commitment: 4 to 5 hours a week
Time Duration: 1 to 2 months
