About the Organisation:

Ashwini Charitable Trust works with 15 educational institutions in Bangalore, to identify and sponsor children who show potential and the children undergo an all-round development program that enriches their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through education, food, life skills, recreation, mentoring, sports, health and financial inclusion. They also run an empowerment program for the mothers of the children who are taught life skills.
Purpose of the Project:

Ashwini Charitable Trust relies on volunteers heavily to carry out their tasks. Over the years, they have collected so much data about the children they sponsor that has been recorded manually and is scattered. They are looking for a volunteer who can develop a database for them in which they can collate all the data. This will be extremely beneficial for them to track the journey of each of their children.
Location:Bangalore but can be done completely virtual.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Understand database development
  • Think of innovative ideas to organize and develop a database on excel
  • Very open to new ideas and feedback
