Developing e-content

About the Organisation: Visthar is a secular Civil Society organization committed to social justice and peace. They engage in community-based advocacy and transformative education. Visthar is also a hub of socio-cultural and environmental consciousness, opening its doors to host events that challenge human rights and survival of the marginalized. They also offer study programs on gender, diversity, social justice, peace and development.
Purpose of the Project: Visthar is looking for volunteers who can develop e-content for their programs. As of now, their operations were strictly based on one-on-one educational programs. However, with the onset of Covid-19, they are finding the need to structure their manuals and digitize them. They are looking for committed individuals, who can go out of their way to type and develop their existing data as soft copies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Move content from manuals and books to a digitized form
  • Be able to scan and place images in a digital book
Impact:As a volunteer to Visthar, you will be able to help them radically shift from on-ground education programs to a digitized form. In the process, you will help a grassroot organisation keep its cultural heritage while also transforming it into something new.
Time Commitment:One-time engagement
