Social Media and Communications Intern
Project Description: Social Media Profiles Management, Website Launch, Sunderbans Relief Aid
Purpose: Produce weekly text and image for MLT’s social media profiles and update social media audiences with current projects developments, events and news
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support in event and fundraising planning, and marketing efforts
2. Attend meetings and conferences as appropriate
3. Draft, proofread, and edit communication material for external audiences such as reports, newsletters, blogs
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Knowledge and experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), blogging, and supporting applications (Trello, WordPress)
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Adobe Acrobat
3. Dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial work style and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Location: Work from Home
Time Commitment: 30 hours a week
- 6 hours a day
- 5 days a week

Missing’s aim is to create a world where every child is safe from sex trafficking. This vision has taken its awareness initiatives to a national scale. Under its three pillars - Education, Innovation and Empowerment, Missing has launched
a variety of programs, some of which include the Stencil Project, the Missing Game, Murals with Chatbots, an Interactive Digital Comic titled Web of Deceit, the Urban and Rural Awareness Programs for Schools, the Swadhikar Youth Program (Community Leadership) and Women Empowerment Centres (WECs). They are in the process of launching their new website, a second game and an AR App. They are also developing new modules for the Missing Anti-Trafficking Program for Schools.
