Making Colourful Props for Communicating and Teaching Disabled Children
About the Organization:
Our Vision is to empower persons with disabilities to make their own choices and to be celebrated as equal and valuable members of their families and communities. To create a dignified identity in the society we thought it is important to design livelihood projects for their social and economic rehabilitation and which will help them to sustain within the community by enjoying full rights and privileges like other fellow citizens. The annual report needs to be designed in a manner where it showcases all the good work donors by the organizations. A good annual report attracts new donors and gives evidence to the existing donors about the good work done by the organization.
Volunteers would need to make colorful props for disabled children so that it can be used in their virtual sessions.
The props which one should make will be directed by the organization.
This is to make the beneficiaries remember what they had learned.
Expected learning of the volunteer
1) Sharpening of skills within a resource crunched context
2) Exposure to a diverse community and problems
3) Ability to empathize better
