Help NGO by Data Research through a Mini Whiteboard
Project Description: Volunteer needed who can do extensive research on Data, Research and Vital Statistics for Tarezameen Foundation.
Who can apply?
Students pursuing a degree in undergraduate college
Students willing to VOLUNTEER at the earliest
Can be present at the office for atleast 10 hours a week
Students willing to work in a team and go the extra mile
Women in between jobs/ break looking to add value to an organization.
Purpose: To research on key issues prevalent in Delhi to help the organization take initiatives in order to address the same.
Key Responsibility: Volunteer must be able to do extensive research on issues prevalent in Delhi on mentioned vertices.
Time Duration: As per the mutual understanding between the NGO and the volunteer.
Location: ONLINE from anywhere in INDIA.
Time Commitment: As per the mutual understanding between the NGO and the volunteer.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Volunteer is good in content writing
2. Volunteer must be good in writing e-mail and Tele-communication
3. Fluency in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
4. Fluency in English, Hindi
5. Experience in any events and program related activity.
The Whiteboard initiative brings people with management skills together to work with organisations like a Board might. Organisations often need help across various aspects of their functioning from crafting a strategy to HR, a finance policy and plan to marketing and determining impact . This is specially true of smaller organisations that struggle to find resources to hire human resource to do some of these critical tasks .
The key element of the Whiteboard initiative is the value that the group dynamic will bring to the organisation. You will work with a group of others with diverse skill sets. As a group will engage with the organisation helping not just detail their key pain areas but also take the ownership for finding strategic solutions.
this initiative will help you a) hone your learning and skills in a challenging environment b) inspire leadership skills c) develop empathy and the ability to work with different types of people as well as peers.
You will be expected to work with your team to deliver outcomes to the NGO over a 2 month period . Your engagement will be facilitated by iVolunteer .
The needs of the NGO will be revalidated by you in your initial interactions with them.
