About the Organisation: Apni Shala works towards building social and emotional competencies among individuals so they can constructively engage with society and have a harmonious co-existence.
Project Background: Students of Apni Shala's Youth project seek Social emotional learning support from Apni Shala facilitators. However, they also require academic support with their statistics at the graduate and undergraduate level. This will include basic stats like correlation, regression etc.
Purpose of the Project: Supporting college students belonging to low income communities in their college subjects.
Support Provided: Teaching material will be provided to the volunteer and coordination support from Apni Shala Social worker (to help connect with the assigned students)
Time required: 2 sessions per week. Each session can be 1 or 2 hours depending on the volunteer
Project Duration: 3 Months from December
Volunteer Skills: The volunteer should have awarenes of college level Statistics. And should have some experience in teaching
