RECORD VIDEO LESSONS
ABOUT e-VIDYALOKA
eVidyaloka addresses the top two chronic challenges hampering quality education in rural schools of our country – Teacher Shortage and Teaching Quality. The model brings qualified Indian nationals, leveraging the power of Technology and enables access to high-quality teachers to the underserved children in the remotest villages of India covering from Rural to Tribal regions. Fast forward, to Covid and education amidst the pandemic - The schools are locked, most of them are quarantines, the children are in their homes, teachers in their homes. The children are yearning to learn, and the passionate teachers are looking for an interactive medium to reach students and at the same time, also be able to manage, monitor, measure the outcomes. The formal channel of education is disrupted. We believe that LOCKDOWN is for schools, not for the LEARNING.
RECORD VIDEO LESSONS.
The current pandemic situation does not allow students in the villages to go to school for regular classes. Even in these circumstances, there lies an opportunity for each one us to help the children of rural India. The solution is to broadcast recorded video lessons so that learning continues. eVidyaloka is bridging the gap of technology access in the villages, by way of broadcasting video classes through TV to the children, ensuring equitable education for all.
To bridge the gap eVidyaloka is starting the initiative of recording class sessions and broadcasting it over television to reach the larger student population in rural India. How Videos for a chapter on various subtopics covered in the textbook can be recorded, following a set of guiding instructions and technology aids recommended by eVidyaloka. The entire content created in regional language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Marathi) will then create a deeper impact in the learning for all the children viewing the videos
