About the organisation:Protsahan India Foundation works to empower every at-risk adolescent girl with Creative Education and Entrepreneurial Skills Training so that she can break the cycle of extreme poverty and abuse
Project Background: Protsahan works towards supporting at-risk adolescent girls. They help heal childrren who have witnessed abuse. They want to work towards spreading awareness about child abuse in the communities they work in. However, they want to use a creative channel to do so. To help them execute this they are looking for artists and illustrator to create posters that they can circulate or put up within the communities.
Project Deliverables: 1) The volunteer will need to come up with artistic ways of demonstrating the cause. 2) The organisation will help you brainstorm and come up with ideas so that it captures the sensitivity of the matter and simultaneously creating an impact on the person viewing it.
Volunteer Requirements: 1) Volunteer needs to be extremely creative 2) He/she should have experience or understanding of social art
Time Commitment: 2 to 3 hours per week
Time Duration: depends on volunteer
Expected learning: 1) Empathy 2) Will get to know about the sector 3) Will get the chance to give back in such a noble cause and the opportunity to work on a challenging project with their artistic freedom.
