Social Media and Communications

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce weekly text and image for MLT’s social media profiles

  • Track weekly interaction and analytics in regards to social media platforms

  • Keep up and update social media audiences with current events and news

  • Provide support in event and fundraising planning, and marketing efforts

  • Attend meetings and conferences as appropriate

  • Draft, proofread, and edit communication material for external audiences such as reports, newsletters, blogs

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), blogging, and supporting applications (Trello, WordPress)

  • Familiarity with social media analytics

  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and meet short deadlines 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Familiarity with Design Softwares and Apps (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign) 


    Location: Virtual

    Time Commitment: As per the mutual understanding between the NGO and the Volunteer
