ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Honourpoint is an online memorial to honor, appreciate and remember the spirited and valiant sons and daughters of India who had the distinction of serving the country in “military uniform”, and are no longer with us. It is an endeavor to ensure that supreme sacrifices of our soldiers and their families do not fade away and are given their rightful place in our nation’s collective consciousness.
KEY PROJECT OBJECTIVES
1) Understand their existing program and the social media strategy if there is one 2) Develop a plan for them with their key staff ( given that social media messaging is everybody's job) and with the person in charge of communication 3) Write up content templates for various media ( Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc)
Social media marketing strategy and plan for execution. A Social Media Calendar needs to be set up for them to help them post things on Social Media platforms. Knowledge of content ideation and make the organization aware of free and available software for graphically designing their content.
EXPECTED LEARNING FOR THE VOLUNTEER
1) Sharpening of skills within a resource crunched context 2) Exposure to a diverse community and problems 3) Ability to empathize better
