About the Organisation With a modest beginning of providing Midday meal in one school to 50 children everyday in the last 9 years the organization has grown to a commendable force having its own infrastructure facilities in providing education, healthcare, livelihood skills, empowerment and placement, senior citizens care. Project Background Since everything is now gone virtual, DBM is looking to work on an online teaching/tutoring programme. They require help with designing and handling the operations on a programme where every child receives one on one tutoring on Math and Science. Project Deliverables Volunteers are required to a) Create a robust outreach plan to invite and inspire peers to sign up for one on one phone based math and science tutoring for the 1000s of children that DBM works with. b) Developing a simple phone based engagement plan and completing 2-3 pilots. c) Designing the entire volunteer engagement framework will require interacting with the programme staff of the organisation, a few older children. Volunteer Requirement Marketing Volunteer: We need a volunteer from a marketing background to handle the Volunteer outreach. Volunteer Management and Operations: The volunteer would need to be good with Startergy building and Operations. Skills Required 1) Knowing Hindi is essential for this opportunity 2) For the Volunteer outreach person the volunteer would need to have knowledge in Social Media Marketing 3)Good with operations and implementation 4) Good with desgining strategies Time Commitment: 4hours a week
