Volunteer required for graphic designing
Project Description: Help Tare Zameen Foundation to improve their website design and functionality. A Graphic designer creates the look, layout, and features of a website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once a website is created, a designer helps with maintenance and additions to the website. They work with development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks. Location: Work from Home/ Online Time: As per mutual understanding between the NGO and the Volunteer Skills Required of the Volunteer: 1. Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals 2. Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography 3. Excellent time-management skills 4. Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of format 5. Familiarity with digital photo editing 6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 7. Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 9. Awareness of UI/UX principles Key Responsibilities: 1. Writing and editing content 2. Designing webpage layout 3. Determining technical requirements 4. Updating websites 5. Creating back up files 6. Solving code problems About NGO: Tare Zameen Foundation is a non-profit organization registeredin the year 2018 in Delhi. Since, its inception the organizationhas been working for many causes like the upliftment of Children,Women, Aged and the Physically & Mentally challenged. It has been reaching out to the unprivileged and underprivileged children by providing them with the means of education and has shown the women folk the way to empowerment through employment. It also has been campaigning for the Save Girl Child programme through awareness generation. The organization also believes that a lot of diseases could be prevented through awareness programmes.
