About the Organisation: The National Association of Disabled’s Enterprises (NADE) was established in Mumbai in 1987 as a Non- Governmental Charitable Trust with the main objective of motivating and supporting the unemployed and dependant disabled population of India to come out of their dejected and disappointed conditions and organize themselves into groups (Co-operatives of the disabled) and take up suitable self-employment avenues to earn their livelihood through their own efforts based on “self-help” and “mutual help”.
Project Description: NADE helps provides livelihood generation opportunities for people belonging to the disabled community. They want to currently keep track of all their benificieries so that they can manage their program better.
Project Deliverables: They are looking for a volunteer from a software tech background who help them create a software or a program to maintain a database of disabled persons for a benefit they will be eligible on registration. The program should include features like in the aadhar system where the pictures are taken by webcam. And a few other features to identify persons from the same family like that.
Skill Required: 1) Volunteer must have prior experience in Software design and creation. 2) A degree in Computer Science
Time Commitment: 3 hours per week
Time Duration: 2 months
