Opportunity Details

Creativity is contagious, pass it on!

15th April is the birthday of the world-famous artist Leonardo da Vinci. Artists for A Better World International member, Becky Mate, founded an international holiday for the Arts in 1998, aptly called World Art Day, the same day as da Vinci's birthday. Since 1998, Mate has inspired and encouraged others to spread the word about this holiday to artists and art enthusiasts around the globe. The result has been a growing number of World Art Day celebrations with each passing year.

This year, iVolunteer has planned to celebrate art on April 11th, 2021 by calling in all the different types of artists virtually to give the shelter home kids a beautiful glimpse of what art is. If you think that you know any sort of art and that you can transfer the same knowledge to kids, do register today and help us make this day a memorable one. It can be anything like singing, painting, sketching, DIY crafts, playing any instrument, etc. If you do not want to teach but just want to join as a participant and enjoy the time with kids, you are most welcome!

Location: Virtual

Note: Once you register, the opportunity coordinator will connect with you and understand what art you will be performing/teaching
