Purpose
To create a story bank for children of the age group of 4 to 10 years in different
Indian languages.

What are we going to do with these stories?
The stories will be in a public platform available for everybody to use. It would be available not only to children from the NGOs but it would be available to the entire children community. This could be inspiring to all th children leading to cross cultural growth and learnings. We would appreciate it if the content was in vernacular language due to the dearth of content out there. Languages could be Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, Telegu, Kannada, Malayalam, Konkani, Rajasthani - or just a regional dialect too!

What do you need?
1) You need a video camera (phone camera)
2) You need to practice and rehearse your story while reciting it on camera
3) Voice modulation is one thing which you will have to keep in mind while recording.
4) You can audio record it and convert it into a animated film to give more clarity to your story
5) You can create a skit with the family and enact a story for the video

Why Volunteer?

We are working towards building a digital library of video stories for children to enjoy. Stories have always been considered the best way of learning. It is a creative method of teaching children about life and its journey. And is a very vital process in child development as it encourages their focus and listening skills. It helps spark their imagination and take them to a different world. Lastly, it helps cultural understanding. In addition, it is a fun activity for adults.
